®udi22 David Vrbík’s Laser Strings

David Vrbík is an audiovisual artist, who has probably collaborated with all the figures of the Czech alternative scene since 1998. His spectacular instrument called Laser String was first presented in Brussels in 2008. Its five strings represented the Olympic rings during the opening of the Czech Olympic House at the Olympic Games in London in 2012. Ondřej Anděra plays the instrument in a video clip called Evropa. For Art’s Birthday 2015 David Vrbík, along with performer and musician Jan Burian, prepared a special set with a new generation of so-called analogue strings.
